LatinLink Institute Inc. is a 501(c3) community-based charitable and educational organization incorporated in the State of Maryland on April 19, 2002. LatinLink received its non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service on May 28, 2002. LatinLink’s mission is to create an environment within the Hispanic/Latino community, and other underserved communities, that will assist and further an individual's capacity to increase his/her earning capabilities by improving the individual's educational level, occupational skills, and entrepreneurial opportunities. LatinLink has special focus on English and Spanish literacy issues, particularly how these affect the workforce environment.
GlobalTech Bilingual Institute is an educational institution whose mission is to create and strengthen a bilingual workforce capable of contributing its talents and capabilities to and for a better America. GlobalTech’s vision is to become the means by which to prepare Hispanic/Latinos for the challenges of the 21st century. GlobalTech Bilingual Institute has been in operation since 1996 providing training in English as a Second Language (ESL), Basic Education, and bilingual vocational programs for underserved communities. GlobalTech’s main training facility is in Southeast Baltimore where Baltimore’s largest concentration of Hispanics reside. GlobalTech also operates a network of Plazas Educativas training centers throughout Maryland. GlobalTech provides intensive and traditional programs for English as a Second language and Spanish as a Second Language for individuals and corporations.
